Monday, January 24, 2011 at 8:57PM Some big changes to the site lately. Been really busy on the homefront. I really need to finish a few things and start a few things. Patience is the key. I'm trying not to force it, while still keeping myself working. If you do visit the site, I really would appreciate ANY feedback! Don't be scared, I've got thick skin. Sort of a necessity in this business ;)
Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 4:46PM So, I decided to make this girl a Vampire Hunter. I'm still ironing out the details, but I've put up a couple of paintovers for outfits. As always, crits and comments are welcome.
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 6:57PM Still working on the WIP. It's going well, but I find myself tweaking alot. While this is pretty standard practice, I've decided to start moving on to clothes and fleshing out a backstory. I'm wrestling with a few ideas: a Detective (CSI type), a Spy of some sort, or a modern Vampire Hunter. All of which have their inherit difficulties. Like, how do you make a detective "cool", or how to differentiate this Vamp Hunter from the A typical "Blade"? Guess I've got some thinking to do!
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 3:03PM I've been noticing something lately. I really enjoy being an environment artist, and I feel like it's a hugely important piece of the puzzle. With that said, what I've been noticing lately is even though environments make up 70-80% of screen real estate, they're often overlooked in media. Flip through any gaming mag nowadays and you'll see what I mean. In light of this realization, and due to a lack of proper practice, I've decided to create a character. You can see my progress on the new WIP page, and as always, crits and comments are appreciated.
